Tamar Myers read again. . .

I finished another book in Tamar Myer's Pennsylvania Dutch mystery series this week. This time the book was Assault And Pepper . Someone has murdered Rev. Shrock, but who? I must say I'm thrilled with the changes in the storyline. I hate to see Rev. Shrock written out of the picture, but I certainly won't miss Lodema. I'm glad there's a change of characters coming. I'm looking forward to the next book, that's for sure! :)

I've not read any of this series... they sound interesting, Amish with the mystery twist. I read a few... oh, what was her name... Beverly Lewis? And they really were a little to fluffy for me to read much of. Not bad for an occasional read those. These sound better!

These aren't actually Christian books, but for the most part they aren't too bad. There's a few references to sex in them, but it's not too blatent. :) They are fun reads, though. She loves word plays and every once in a while you'll find a long bit of alliteration in a sentance. Sometimes it's a groaner but sometimes you think "That's cute!" :)
