Christian cartoons

Okay, so I found this book at a book sale during a $2 a bag sale. It wasn't anything much to speak of, but I did read it. Rev. Fun's Someone Stole My Locust was not a book you could judge by it's cover -- it looked better than it was. Still it only took about 10 minutes to read. I read this in May.

A Pentecostal Episcopal Church

In May I read Fire In the Wax Museum. It was a book about a Pentecostal Episcopal church in Florida. It wasn't that exciting of a read, but it was kind of interesting. At the time I read it, I'd never been to a Pentecostal Anglican church, but I was in Jerusalem. Christ Church is the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East, and I was there on Pentecost. So I guess it was an appropriate day to visit a Pentecostal church. Here's a picture inside Christ Church.

Christian woman's book

It's been a long time since I posted, but I'm going to try to get everything up to date. I spent two weeks in Israel, thankfully before the war with Lebanon, and May was spent mainly getting ready for that trip. So, I'm going to blog once a day to catch up. :)

I read Captivating back in May. It was a wonderful book for Christian women, and I highly recommend it. Made me glad to be a woman.

This was quite a find as I got it for 10 cents at a book sale. How neat of a find is that? :) I love finding good books cheap at booksales!
