Frugal Friday
On Friday I spent a day of thrift shopping and such. I got too many good deals to list, but here are just a few. . .
spent $7 at Goodwill. Got myself two shirts, and two books. One of which was Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio which is my favorite book and I always pick up copies at $1 or less to give to people.
At my favorite thift store they had a grand re-opening, and I didn't know that before I went. I was given a $4 off my purchase coupon. I loved the new set up, they were able to display so much more. My big find there was a 2007 writer's market for my mother for $1.
I went to Family Dollar and used a $5 gift card I had recently won. For 2¢ I got a four pack of bowls with lids and 3 candy bars. (Two were for my mother and me, and one for a friend who is a missionary in Russia and I send his family items from time to time.) My mother had asked me to keep an eye open for some bowls like that and what is better than getting them for 2¢?
